With the aim of intuitive and simple access to the required contents, the
web page dedicated to the Croatian Gazetteer of Geographical Names is restored. The site is restructured and redesigned. Also, to access the view and download network services of the Gazetteer of Geographical Names, Terms of use were introduced which the users have to accept if they want to access the data. On these web pages are available the following services:
- Gazetteer of Geographical Names - WMS (service service),
- Gazetteer of Geographical Names - WFS (download service),
- Gazetteer of Geographical Names - WFS INSPIRE (download service).
Gazetteer of Geographical Names is still the only source of data in full compliance with the requirements of the on NSDI ACCT ie. Directive 2007/2/EC (INSPIRE).
The website
cgn.dgu.hr continues to follow the issue of geographical names, both at the global, regional and national level.
