Workshop „German and Croatian NSDI“

On 7 and 8 November 2013th in Frankfurt and Bonn Workshop on the exchange of experiences on the establishment of NSDI in Germany and Croatia was organized. The workshop was organized in the National Contact Point for INSPIRE Germany, Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie in Frankfurt / M, and the contact point for the North-Rhine West Falia in Bonn. The workshop presents the activities to establish the NSDI in Croatia, and obtained information on the status of NSDI in Germany, both at the federal level and at the level of a federal state.














At the workshop, the Bundesamt für Kartographie und Geodäsie presented the activities of the National Contact Point for INSPIRE in Germany. Primary activities of BKG includes coordination of NSDI bodies at national level, and contact points in other states, the fulfillment of commitments to the European Commission, and participation in various bodies at EU level which are formed for the purpose of establishment of INSPIRE. Coordinating body for INSPIRE geoportal maintained and at the federal level, which can be accessed at the following link http://www.geoportal.de/












Contact Point in Bonn in North Rhine-West Falia state, is also part of the Geodetic Administration of North Rhine-West missing. Every state in Germany has its own geoportal, including North Rhine-West missing. (https://www.geoportal.nrw.de/) National Contact Point at the country level are much more operational role that is based on working with actors.
Workshop in Frankfurt and Bonn was of great importance for the SGA as a national contact point Croatian. The establishment of the NSDI in Republic of Croatia represents the synergy of activities carried out by just these two institutions, such as coordinating and implementation so that the transmitted experience, based on the establishment of NSDI in Germany of the 2003,  among other things, guidance for further development.
