Workgroup for NSDI data sharing

The main task of the Workgroup for NSDI data sharing is coordinating and implementing the development and maintenance of an interoperable and adjusted licensing model that is in accordance with the Croatian legislature and which enables NSDI subjects to uniquely define and publish conditions for access to their data and offered services. Based on the working results of the group, mechanisms for enabling NSDI subjects to automatically implement conditions for data sharing will be determined, thus improving supervision of the flow of their intellectual property.

The main task implies:

• Creating a harmonized norm of rules and conditions for access and use of data and services,
• Testing, verifying and if needed adjusting the specifications determined by the INSPIRE Implementation rules and Instructions relating to joint use of data and services,
• Ensuring feedback information for INSPIRE workgroups,
• Reporting and giving suggestions and recommendations to the NSDI Board and Council,
• Preparing a best practice template for NSDI subjects.
