Workgroup for NSDI technical standards

The main task of the Workgroup for NSDI technical standards is coordinating and managing development and maintenance of technical implementing specifications that will enable an interoperable operation of geo-services with a goal of fulfilling the needs of NSDI subjects. All created specifications will be in accordance with the Implementing rules of the INSPIRE Directive.

The main task implies:

• Testing, confirming and if necessary tweaking technical specifications determined by INSPIRE Implementing rules and Guidelines,
• Ensuring feedback information for INSPIRE workgroups,
• Reporting and giving suggestions and recommendations to the NSDI Board and Council,
• Preparing a best practice template and other technological information needed by the development teams in order to create the necessary applications.
