The Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on National Spatial Data Infrastructure

Pursuant to the European Commission's request, submitted in April 2017, seeking to adapt the Spatial Data Infrastructure Act to the provisions of Directive 2007/2 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 March 2007 establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE), the State Geodetic Administration has drafted a Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on National Spatial Data Infrastructure and sent it to the procedure for adoption. The primary requirement refers to the definitions of spatial data themes, which must be legally binding, and accordingly found in the Law itself.

On January 24, 2018, the Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted the Proposal of the Act on Amendments to the Law on National Spatial Data Infrastructure and submitted it to the next procedure of the first reading in the Croatian Parliament.
