The Day of the European Surveyor and Geoinformation
The Day of the European Surveyor and Geoinformation is celebrated on March, 22nd 2013 according to decision of Council of European Geodetic Surveyors. Therefore, State Geodetic Administration, Croatian Chamber of Chartered Geodetic Engineers and Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb will organize celebration which will take place on Friday, 22nd of March, 2013 at 1 pm at the Faculty of Geodesy. Last year, Day of the European Surveyor and Geoinformation was dedicated to Mercator, whereas this year's celebration is dedicated to Galileo Galilei. Council of European Geodetic Surveyors is organizing celebration as part of its General Assembly, which will be held on 22nd -23rd of March, in Budapest.
