What is the deadline for applying to the NSDI Subject Register, the NSDI Spatial Data Source Register, entering metadata into the NSDI Metadata Catalogue on the NSDI Geoportal and development of network services?

The deadlines for the development of INSPIRE compliant network services have passed, as prescribed by the INSPIRE Directive, which was transposed into Croatian legislation by the NSDI Act (OG 56/13, 52/18, 50/20). You can access the INSPIRE establishment timeline at the following link. Therefore, if the data existed at the time of entry into force of the NSDI ACt, obligations should have already been fulfilled, including registration in the Register of NSDI Subjects, the Register of Spatial Data Sources of the NSDI, the entry of metadata into the Metadata Catalog on the NSDI Geoportal, data harmonization and the development of INSPIRE compliant network services.

If there are new data, its metadata is established at the time of creation of the source, and within one year at the latest:

Art. 13 (4) Metadata for new sources of spatial data shall be established at the time of creation of its source, and no later than one year after the entry into force of the act establishing the new source of spatial data.
