Members of the NSDI Committee and other attendees were introduced to the activities of the State Geodetic Administration, as the National Contact Point of the NSDI, at the organization of the conference "SDI Day 2021". According to the plan, the conference should be held on October 20, 2021 in Rovinj, at the Eden Hotel, in accordance with all current epidemiological measures in the Republic of Croatia. The planned framework topics of the conference are: NSDI Strategy, NSDI after INSPIRE, the role of spatial data in times of crisis and integration with other systems.
Also, the current state of preparation of a comprehensive report on the implementation of measures and activities from the NSDI Strategy 2020 and the Strategic Plan of the NSDI for the period 2017-2020 was discussed. This Report is in a high stage of preparation and will be submitted to the Government of the Republic of Croatia for adoption by the end of 2021.
The session was attended by Ljerka Marić, MsC, President of the NSDI Committee, members of the NSDI Committee Tomislav Ciceli, MsC, Iva Gašparović, PhD, representatives of the National Contact Point, Tanja Pušelj Ostroški, representative of the community of economy and information technology, Željko Perić, representative of the community of economy, geodesy and geoinformatics and Davor Kršulović and Tanja Rodin, MsC, from the State Geodetic Administration.
