On the basis of Article 31 paragraph 4 of the Law on the Government of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette 150/11, 119/14, 93/16, 116/18 and 80/22) and Article 27 paragraph 1 of the Law on the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (Official Gazette 56/13, 52/18, 50/20) on March 22, 2023, the Government of the Republic of Croatia issued a Decision on the dismissal of the President of the Council of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, Ph.D. Damir Šantek and the appointment of the Director General of the State Geodetic Administration, Antonio Šustić, as the President of the Council.
The President of the NSDI Council is appointed from the National Contact Point. The State Geodetic Administration has been designated as the National Contact Point for NSDI in the implementation of the INSPIRE Directive, in accordance with Article 27, Paragraph 2 and Article 29, Paragraph 1 of the Law on NSDI.
