The emphasis of this year's conference is to ensure sustainability by expanding INSPIRE stakeholders outside the scope provided by the INSPIRE directive. The role of the INSPIRE directive in solving environmental and climate challenges (A Green Deal for Europe), increasing environmental democracy and strengthening the data economy (European Common Data Spaces) will also be presented.
The INSPIRE 2023 conference provides an excellent opportunity to consult with the stakeholder community on the initial findings of the GreenDeal4All impact assessment and possible policy options for the evolution of the INSPIRE Directive into a key instrument for populating the Green Deal Data Spaces with relevant data.
According to the tentative program, two plenary sessions and 15 thematic sessions are planned.
