On December 13, 2023, the 9th session of the 7th convocation of the Council of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure was held in the premises of the State Geodetic Administration. The Council was chaired by the President of the NSDI Council, Antonio Šustić, Director General of the State Geodetic Administration.
At the aforementioned 9th session of the NSDI Council, the proposal of the work plan of the NSDI Council for the year 2024 was discussed, which includes, among other things:
- Preparation and submission to the Government of the Republic of Croatia for adoption of the Report on the activities, maintenance and development of NSDI for the year 2023
- Delivery of the Report on the establishment, maintenance and development of NSDI for 2023 in the Republic of Croatia (Country Fiche) for the European Commission prepared by the National Contact Point
- Holding the 14th NSDI and INSPIRE day
- Holding workshops for NSDI subjects, both initial workshops for inclusion in NSDI, but also advanced level education for the needs of data harmonization
- Continuation of maintenance of the technical NSDI framework (NSDI Registries, NSDI Geoportal, NSDI website)
- Preparation of the Report on monitoring the implementation of INSPIRE in the Republic of Croatia for the year 2023 (Monitoring)
- Establishment of a thematic working group for spatial plans
Various projects were also presented by the members of the NSDI Council for the institutions under their jurisdiction, the proceedings from the previous session were adopted, and the desire for further cooperation and achieving good results was expressed.
