The National Contact Point in cooperation with the Croatian Agency for the Environment and Nature (CAEN) has established an automatic harvesting of data between the two catalogs, the NSDI Geoportal and the ENVI portal, and thus a large number of sources are now included in the NSDI Metadata Catalog.
The National Contact Point continues its activities related to the implementation of the Strategy 2020 and the Action Plan 2017-2020. On June 8th, 2018, in the State Geodetic Administration the 13th NSDI Workshop for NSDI subjects under the title “Implementation Status NSDI 2020 Strategy” was held. The workshop was attended by 40 participants, representatives of NSDI Subjects.
On May 30th and 31st, 2018, in Bečići in Montenegro, XI. Regional Conference on Cadastre and Spatial data Infrastructure entitled „Utilizing Spatial Data in Building a Digital Society - Challenges and Perspectives“, organized by the Real Estate Directorate, was held.
Final Draft of the Act on Amendments to the National Spatial Data Infrastructure Act was sent to the Croatian Parliament for second reading on May 23th, 2018, after being unanimously adopted by the Committee on Legislation of the Croatian Parliament and the Physical Planning and Construction Committee on May 16th and 17th, 2018.
