As part of the activities of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI), the 40th and 41st data harmonization workshops were held, both in an online format.
The 40th workshop was held on May 20, 2025, in cooperation with the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service. The topic of the workshop was the harmonization of digital climatological maps within the INSPIRE theme Meteorological geographical features. The data were successfully harmonized using the FME software, resulting in a dataset compliant with INSPIRE specifications.
The 41st workshop took place on June 13, 2025, in cooperation with the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries. The focus of the workshop was on sea salinity and temperature data within the INSPIRE theme Oceanographic Geographical Features. Harmonization was again carried out using the FME tool, ensuring compliance with the technical requirements of the INSPIRE directive.
Data harmonization workshops are an important step in ensuring the interoperability of spatial data and contribute to strengthening cooperation among public authorities in the implementation of the INSPIRE Directive.
