Increasing the availability of NSDI spatial data through e-services

The State Geodetic Administration (SGA) is a beneficiary of grants from Priority Axis 2 – Use of Information and Communication Technology of the Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020 which finance the project “Increasing the availability of NSDI spatial data through e-services” from the European Regional Development Fund.

The main goal of the project “Increasing the availability of NSDI spatial data through e-services" is to increase the availability of spatial data of public authorities, ie NSDI subjects, by developing services in line with the INSPIRE Implementing Rules. In order to meet the objectives of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure and the obligations arising from the NSDI Act (OG 56/13, 52/18, 50/20), the project will provide NSDI subject with software solutions for data harmonization and development of e-services.

In addition, the project will provide NSDI stakeholders with an insight into the possibility of using interoperable spatial data by developing a new NSDI Geoportal module “Examples of good practice for the use of NSDI spatial data”.

The project, which consists of three components, will do the following:
  1. Assist NSDI subjects that keep data in their models to adapt it to the requirements arising from NSDI and make it available through view and download e-services
  2. Through examples of good practice enable the use of NSDI spatial data in a simple and intuitive way
  3. Conduct training of employees of the State Geodetic Administration and selected NSDI subjects for the needs of data harmonization and development of e-services
