Representatives of the SGA participated in the SDI FBiH Days conference

On September 25 and 26, the conference Days of Spatial Data Infrastructure of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held in Mostar, with participation of employees of the State Geodetic Administration as the Nation Contact Point for NSDI in the Republic of Croatia. This was the sixth conference dedicated to spatial data infrastructure in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was organized as part of the implementation activities of the GeoConnect project, financed by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency under the Matra Programme.



During the two days of the conference, numerous presentations were held, divided into a total of five sessions, where the current state of the establishment of spatial data infrastructure in FBIH, as well as the implementation of the GeoConnect, GIVE and DELEF projects, were presented. Also, good practice examples of SDI usage were presented, along with a brief overview of spatial data infrastructures at the global level.

The conference was organized by the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Real Property Affairs of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was attended by more than a hundred participants from various countries.
