Meeting of the Working Group for High-Value Spatial Data Sets in the NSDI was held

On April 21, 2026, the first meeting of the Working Group for High-Value Spatial Data Sets in the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) was held, organized by the State Geodetic Administration.
 
The Working Group consists of representatives from:
 

• the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation
• the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition
• the Croatian Bureau of Statistics
• the Croatian Hydrographic Institute, and
• the State Geodetic Administration as the National Contact Point for NSDI and INSPIRE.

 
During the meeting, activities related to the revision of the INSPIRE Directive and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/138 establishing high-value datasets and the arrangements for their publication and re-use were presented.
 
The establishment of interoperable integration between the NSDI Metadata Catalogue and the Open Data Portal was also discussed.
 
The Working Group will continue its activities aimed at improving the availability, interoperability, and re-use of high-value spatial datasets within the NSDI framework.
