On February 21 and March 15, 2022, “telephone” sessions of the NSDI Council were held.
At the fourth session of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure Council (NSDI Council), the Report on activities for the establishment, maintenance and development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure for 2021 (Report) was adopted. After its adoption, the Report was sent to the competent authorities for an opinion, and at the fifth session of the NSDI Council, after collecting and processing opinions, the final version of the Report was agreed and sent to the Government of the Republic of Croatia for acceptance.
During 2021, two project that were co-financed from the EU funds have been completed, the activities of the State Geodetic Administration, as the National Contact Point, continued to improve the technical framework for discovering, viewing and downloading and visualization of official spatial data under NSDI subjects (NSDI Registers, NSDI Geoportal and GeoCroatia browser). Also, a large number of activities were carried out to spread awareness and promote NSDI through NSDI workshops, conferences and the printing of educational materials.
