The third cycle of workshops under the common title "Inclusion of local and regional self-government units in the NSDI"

The third cycle of workshops includes the 29th and 30th NSDI workshops which will be held on 14 and 20 April 2021 in the form of virtual workshops through the Microsoft Teams platform. This cycle of workshops represents a whole with two previous cycles of workshops under the common name "Inclusion of local and regional self-government units in the NSDI". The goal of these workshops is to acquaint the representatives of local and regional self-government units with the NSDI through theoretical and legal bases, as well as with the obligations arising from them, in order to facilitate the overall process of inclusion of subjects in the NSDI. Over 190 representatives of local and regional self-government units have participated in the workshops so far.

The workshops will include a series of lectures focused on establishment, development and maintenance of the NSDI, with special reference to the NSDI Registers, the NSDI Geoportal, network services and the GeoHrvatska browser. An interaction with participants, ie a short anonymous questionnaire, is also planned, in order to get feedback from participants on knowledge and understanding of the NSDI.

The State Geodetic Administration is a beneficiary of grants from Priority Axis 4 – “Good Governance” of Specific Objectives 11 and 1 “Increasing efficiency and capacity in public administration through improving service delivery and human resources management” of the Operational Program “Effective Human Resources 2014 and 2020” which co-finance the project “Capacity building for the establishment of the NSDI” from the European Social Fund, within which this new, third cycle of NSDI workshops is being organized.
