Encouraged by last year’s great interest and the gathering of a large number of representatives from various institutions, as well as a growing need for implementation of the spatial data infrastructure and promoting the importance of a geoinformatically enabled society, the Croatian Cartographic Society (HKD) and the State Geodetic Administration (DGU) joint again to organize the Croatian NSID and INSPIRE day.
Co-organizers of the event were the public institution Department for spatial planning of Primorsko-goranska county from Rijeka, Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb and the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Rijeka.
The event gathered 170 participants from Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Germany and Sweden, as well as a representative of EuroGraphics.
