| The keyword thesaurus element must be indicated if the keyword is taken from the thesaurus. Citing the keyword thesaurus must include: title, date and date type. To be compliant with the ISO 19115 standard, all keyword values originating from the same version of the keyword thesaurus must be grouped as one instance. Keywords allow for more detailed and structured metadata record searches and searches using authorized keyword lists such as GEMET. The value of the keyword, if possible, should be taken from the keyword list. In addition to the GEMET keyword list, EUROVOC, AGROVOC and others are also used. Dataset and dataset series If the spatial data source is a dataset, dataset series or service, one key word should be the GEMET - INSPIRE data theme which defines the data theme defined in INSPIRE/NSDI Annex I, II or III. For a dataset and dataset series, at least one keyword from the spatial scope thesaurus and one key word from the priority data dictionary should be documented, if the dataset or dataset series belong to priority spatial data sets for environmental reporting as defined by INSPIRE. Service When assigning keywords for services, at least one keyword must be selected from the Classification of Spatial Services according to EN ISO 19119 standard from the EU Commission document Commission Regulation (EC) No 1205/2008 of 3 December 2008 implementing Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards metadata. The classification of spatial data services, from this document, is based on the taxonomy of services according to EN ISO 19119 standards. This taxonomy is organized into categories, subcategories defining the value domain of the spatial data services classification.
