Conformity: specification

Name Conformity: specification (invocable spatial data service)
Definition Cite the product specifications or user requirements against which the data were evaluated.
Obligation
  • service: mandatory for invocable spatial data service
Multiplicity [1] within one conformity documentation, but there may be multiple conformity documentation
Example Title: INSPIRE Data Specification on Cadastral Parcels – Technical Guidelines
Date: 2010-12-08
Date type: published
In addition to documenting conformance with one of the three conformance classes according to the appropriate spatial data service category (Service category), it is also necessary to document the conformance of the invocable spatial data service with the Commission Regulation (EU) no. 1089/2010 and at least one technical specification.

The date is defined in accordance with ISO 19108 and ISO 8601 standards. For documents specifying INSPIRE implementing rules, the exact official title of the document must be provided in the metadata language.

Implementation instructions According to Commission Regulation (EU) no. 1312/2014 it is necessary to document the conformance of the invocable spatial data service with at least one technical specification (INSPIRE technical guidelines or some other) with which the service is fully conformant and which provides all technical information (human or machine readable) that allows invoking the spatial data service.

Encoding example: Conformance with Web Map Service technical specification (ISO 19128: 2005)
